Meet the advisory board: Victoria Chama

Lecturer | Researcher | Financial Literacy Advocate

Victoria Chama is a lecturer and PhD candidate in Computer Science. She has served as Assistant Dean and programme accreditation coordinator at Mulungushi University. Her research interests are knowledge representation and reasoning, specifically logic for explainable AI.

Her experience includes developing and delivering course materials, supervising student research, and contributing to curriculum development. Victoria also has experience as a Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at the University of Cape Town.

Outside academia, she is a strong advocate for financial literacy and aims to empower others through coaching and content creation. Her work is deeply rooted in the belief that when people are equipped with the right tools—whether financial or technical—they can transform their lives and communities.
