Chaplain, Educator, Advocate for Ecological and Social Justice
Fr. Adrian Makasa Chikwamo, SJ, is a Jesuit priest and youth chaplain dedicated to transforming the lives of young people, especially those from vulnerable or orphaned backgrounds. He brings an interdisciplinary academic background in theology, philosophy, and ecological economics, combined with years of leadership in pastoral care, education, and sustainable development.

He currently serves as the Catholic Chaplain at the University of Cape Town and School Chaplain at St. Joseph’s Marist College in Rondebosch, Cape Town. In these roles, he provides spiritual direction, psychosocial support, and leadership development for students and learners.
Fr. Chikwamo’s mission is deeply aligned with Yatilink’s vision:
